On The Little Moments
I think everyone feels a certain kind of energy in the summer, an energy instilled in us since we were children. The days get longer and nights get warmer there is a certain kind of magic in the air. & it is that energy that I hope to carry with myself all year round, even in the dead of winter. It is that energy that makes me want to say yes to life & try to take risks & live on the edge. It is summers that have taught me to be true to myself. Recently, a big goal of mine is to: ROMANTICIZE LIFE.
But while striving to romanticize life, I want to continue to be present & live in the moment. In doing so, I want to realize just how special the little moments are & then take the time to create those little moments. This could be:
enjoying a glass of water,
sipping on my cup of coffee in the morning,
smiling up at the sky & pretending to be a plane when running,
singing in the car,
enjoying the rush of water around me & the steam rising when showering,
soaking up the sun or embracing the winds child,
spending more time in the rain,
skipping rocks,
curling toes in the grass & sand,
& cozying up with warm socks & blankets.
There is SO MUCH to appreciate!
